this is a link to my brand new(used) 1988 dodge dakota and i have just a few questions

1. the power steering shaft is bad what is the name of this part and what would be junkyard cost

and

2. id like to pull out the old stock sound system, looking for somthing cheap (actually dirt cheap) and plug and play. i already had enough fun messing with the speakers.... had to run two of the four wires..

Replace the whole pump.
I would recommend a re-built or new unit. Buying used parts for a truck that old is only asking for more headaches.

sooo what should i do then. wi sh i would have posted before pics , the only thing i have left to do is the headliner and carpe. I have out alot of work into that truck, for 600$ it was a steal
