Message: Have you run the codes? turn the switch on and off 3 times, not to start but so all the lights come on then on the 3rd time leave the key on, it should give codes either in the odometer or the check engine light will flaSH, but I think only the throttle bodies use the check eng. light to flash out the codes. It sounds as though the IAC (idle air control valve is dirty, or the problem. If you take it out to clean just use spray cleaner and don't touch the valve its self, when clean spray into the hole where the valve goes as well.
Good Luck

Message: It's a vacuum leak. Probably the intake manifold. Check the vacuum reading if you can keep it running.

Message: If the IAC is steping back and drawing more air
and starving
pull a plug when it does that and see if its dry
sounds like a fuel regulator problem
some of the 92's the early ones had a external
vac operated regulator and saying it had an inline
fuel filter it may be one with this setup
What it does is when under excelleration the vac
droping raises the fuel pressure 5 to 10 psi
The newer setup actualy switches the volts on the
fuel pump under hard excelleration and raises the
pressure slightly usualy at wot WIDE OPEN THROTTLE
follow the gas line to see if you have the
external regulator these systems also had a return
fuel line was used on the vary early 92's
