Subject: 3" body lift and transfer case linkage IP: Logged
Message: I put on the performance accesories body lift and have a 2000 dodge dakota 3.9l 5 speed 4x4, How did any of you solve the transfer case linkage problem????

Message: It is not nessasary to lengthen the lever the
problem is that the body will hit the lever
not alowing it to fully shift in.
what you need to do is either cut out some of the
tunnel or simply bend it over so the lever has the
travel it needs to fully inguage
some we also insaled a bigger boot
you can lengthen the lever if you want but the
same prob will exsist and if it does not shift
in fully it will pop out under load and can
damage the transfer case
