04 Dodge Dakota missing & running rough---- check engine light comes on----THANKS for the info on your site about reading the codes---IF I am doing it correctly---reading the codes on the speedometer/trip display there is a P0300--Mulit cylinder misfire--P0300--#3 cylinder misfire and a P0305--#5 cylinder misfire.
This is my sons truck & we had some very severe weather here in Northwest INDIANA a few daya ago and he drove through a street that had a long stretch of standing water & shortly after that the symptoms started.
ANY ADEAS APPERICATED.

what size engine ?
from what i read you have atleast 5 cyls.
so 1 or 3 more ???

Its a 6 cyl engine---not sure of the displacement.

H2O in the ignition wires and the dist. Take off and dry out. Use WD 40 to help dry it out...
