I am trying to remove the water pump from a 1997 Dodge Dakota, but the bearing is broken. Any ideas how to remove the fan?

Strap wrench, might work. doubt it though. A small chain wrench, with a rag between the wrench and pulley (so not to tear the pulley up so bad). real pain in the @ss

see the big nut behind the fan
unscrew it reg right hand thread
leave the belt on take a big screw driver or
chisel catch the edge of the flat and give it
a big wack works every time
turn counter clockwise to remove
