i have a 99 dodge dakota 2wd manual with bad u joints. at autozone the 99' dakota u joints didnt fit so they gave me 00' and they fit. but the rear u joint that goes to the differential has 2 different size end caps on the old u joint but the new u joint i have doesnt fit cuz the new u joint end caps are the same size on all 4 caps. do they make a u joint with the 2 different size caps and could i get it at a auto parts store or must i call dodge?

because that's the way it was made. My 92 has 2 different sizes also.

well how do i get that part then? do they have it at auto part stores or do i need to call a dealer?

any competent auto parts store should be able to find one. especially if you bring them the old one to measure.
