 Subject: 3.9 to 5.2 swap egr questions

i want to swap a 5.2 in my 2000 Dakota 5 speed 4x4 and wanted to find out how i can tell if my truck has the California emissions. its called egr right? i put a 5.2 throttle body on my 3.9 awhile ago and i though some had egr or something well anyway mine didn't have that thing. so doesn't that mean i don't? any help would be appreciated thnx.

DC didn't use an EGR between '96 and '04 on the magnum 3.9, 5.2, 5.9. take your VIN to a dealer or call them and they should be able to tell you if it has Cali emissions or not. you'll probably have to use a PCM from a '99 5.2 dak as the 5.2 was not available for '00. it was replaced that year with the 4.7.

2000 has no egr calf or non calf there is no
egr
The diff is in the computer and cat system also
evap system is a little diff
