 Subject: transmission fluid

my car makes a squealing loise only when i hit the gas when it is in gear and moving if its in nuetral and i hit the gas it wont make the noise but when i am in gear and hit the gas it makes a squealing noise. Could low transmission fluid or low oil cuase this problem?

Its the drive belt,serprntine belt, replace it or try a belt dressing spray to get it to quit squealing....But I would check all the fluid levels as a part of the general maint of the vehicle..
