Will the IAT adjuster from http://www.speedtweaks.net work with a Jet stage 2 chip?

Bernd dosen't recomend it. From what I have read all the jet chip does is adjust the IAT signal just at a higher price than the adjuster.

O.K. don't ask me what I'm doin in the V6 area but we do have one thing in common. I just installed the Jet Chip stage II in my truck and noticed that when I take off sometimes the engine does studder. Bernd says they the IAT adjuster doesn't work with the chip or vice versa. I think I will try the IAT now.

I would like to try an IAT adjustor, but I don't know if I have an IAT. This may be a dumb question, but does the '89 3.9 have an IAT sensor?

dudes and duddettes,

from studying alot of the IAT adjusters and the Jet Chip....... i really think that the IAT adjuster is the best option. i had the Jet Chip Stage 2 for my 2000 Dodge Dakota and i really could tell the difference. BUT Bernd (the Guru!) said that they would not work together. and i'm not going to question his ideas. i'm gonna install the IAT adjuster this weekend and i'll let you ya'all know whats up!!!!!

mahalo,
Scotty

The reason why the IAT Adjuster won't work with the Jet is because Jet modified the IAT signal within their program. (Gee...wonder why.) ;)

You can run them but the calibration marks on the IAT Adjuster dial will be way off. (That's why we don't recommend running with both.)
