Subject: ABS light @ 55mph IP: Logged
Message: One last thing and I'm hoping it's a common problem... The ABS and Parking Brake light come on at 55mph. This has been going on since I bought the truck (about 2 years ago) and the brakes make a ticking noise whenever you hit them. (like the ABS is kicking in all the time) I haven't fixed it yet because there haven't been any adverse effects until recently when my front caliper started sticking, I'm guessing because over time that pulsing of the brakes has worn the rotors like that. I'm replacing the pads and rotors but it sounds like now is the time to fix this and I need to know what's causing it. Thanks for any info!
