Subject: exhaust size IP: Logged
Message: What do I need to know if I want a louder exhaust then my stock on a 99 3.9L. I want a Flowmaster exhaust system.

Message: Well, you need to decide how loud you want to go. :0) The 40 series, from what I've heard, is louder than th 50, but some people find the 40's to be a bit annoying on long trips. I -think- they are all 2 1/4" exhaust...

Message: What's up youngin? The stock pipe size is 2.5" All the rest depends on you, single, dual, tip, dump, all choices of personal preference...

Message: you want a loud exhaust, then go with a vortex muffler. it's like not running one at all.
