Message: I keep hearing this controversy about running true
duals. people say you lose torque because of loss
of backpressure. but then theres the obvious fact
that duals look good and sound different. whats
the story behind dual exhuast? those of you who
have it, how has it effected your performance. the
reason i ask is because i'm getting ready to do my
exhuast. and i'd liek to know if its worth the
money to do the true duals or jsut buy a catback
or singe system.

Message: i have headers into 1 cat-1duel out muffler and back into 2 pipes. there has been a major increase in horsepower and torque. I would of like to of ran 2 pipes all the way back with 2 cats and mufflers but the gas tank gets in the way on the drivers side. But with the headers, stock OEM cat and a off the shelf sh!t duel out muffler i still have the loudest v6 dakota that i have heard.and thats without flowmasters. i'm gettin all my sound from my headers.

Message: Loud Hell yea.. I was running nothing besides a straight pipe out duals in the back and it was crazy a$$ dumb loud..lol only reason i did that was to pi$$ a guy off here.. drivin around in his stanger 5.0 loud as hell so i wanted to play too..
now i have a high flow cat on and thats it.. still loud as hell.. but does sound nice at high speed.
