 Subject: V6 to V8 Conversion

Has anyone done a conversion from 6 to 8? If so, how did it go? Will all of the components from the 6 work on the 8? (Except the obvious of course) I'm thinking I need the engine, ECU, fuel injection system, and exhaust manifolds. Anything else? Also, any issues with putting the V8 up against the 42RE automatic trans? Any additional insight would be appreciated.

All the components of the 6 will work on the 8, It's alot more involved than "just switching them" Go to www.Engine-Swaps.com take a look at the web site. From the call the # and order the mounting kit. When you order the kit, talk with Mike or Mary about other "things" you will need to do... They are "VERY" helpful.. Good luck It's tons of fun, but alot of work!!
