I have a 2003 v6auto quadcab 2wheel drive and want to change the throttle body to a V8 throttle body. Im going to the junk yard tomorrow to look for one. My question is what all do i need? The throttlebody and the throttle cable? How about the cable going to trans? Will this mod help fuel mileage? If anyone here has got one and wants to sell it along with the cable, let me know. thanks for any advise.

I have one for sale. It was on my 02. Took it off to sell the truck. I noticed less donwshifting on hills. I also have an edlbrock airhat that will go with it for $75. I see you are also in the Army from your email. You can email me at ConcertBb@aol.com and I'll give you my AKO. Where are you?

As long as you keep your foot out of it yes
mileage will be better

average gain 1800rpm and above
15 to 18hp 20 to 25 torque low
end off idle will remain the same

bolt on as is do not mod they flow aprox 635cfm
start and shut off the truck 3 times to learn
new idle than give it 200 miles to learn the
increased flow and they work well

use all your V6 sensors because you know they are
good

you may need a throttle cable all else is the same
96 and up are non egr and any 96 and up 318
360 body will work
92 to 95 egr type
