 Subject: blocked hose

i found a small hose today on my truck that is blocked with a screw, and i dont know where it is supposed to go. it is directly under the pcv hose on the intake manifold.the outside diameter of the hose is about 1/4 inch. could someone tell me where this goes?

andrew, I can't say just where it goes, but I am sure it is a vacuum line. What year is it? That may help, does the truck run ok? Someone may have just disconnected it cause it wasn't doing what its suppose to do, or to block off a vacuum leak.

truck runs great, idles fine, i get beter gas mileage than i could hope for

andrew, I don't know where its (the hose) is suppose to go but since its running ok, I don't think I would worry about it too much, see if you can see some place its suppose to go and if you find a place you think it should go get a new hose and hook it up to see what happens.
