Subject: How many? IP: Logged
Message: I'm smelling sulphur when I turn off the ignition. A co-worker says I have a bad catalytic converter, he also says I have 3 cats! Is this right? How many o2 sensors? I drive a 2001 SLT CC auto. ext. cab w/ 3.9L engine. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Message: I know there are 3 cats. One on each side before the y-pipe and then there's one after teh y-pipe before the muffler. Not sure how many O2 sensors there are. 2 or 3 would be my guess.
