Message: Anyone tried any of the Performance Mods/chips on Ebay? They seem to run anywhere for $2 or $3 to 4$25 and have something to do with the IAC sensor? Thanks

Message: don't waste your money. if you want to do something with the IAT sensor, take it out of the intake manifold and move it to the intake tube or airbox.

Message: remove IAT located in the #2 intake runner pass
side 2 wires
put a 1/8 npt national pipe thread plug in the
hole
now mesure over 6" from throttle body and mount
in air tube or air cleaner older modles just drill
a 1/2 hole and screw in
The sensor does not need to be grounded and it
don't matter which way the wires go on if you
extend the wires solder them do not use conectors
they carode most they will reach this location
by just undoing some of the covering on the harnas
reading colder will do 2 things
more timming and more fuel/more power
AND ITS FREE
The IAC is the idle air control back of TB
