 Subject: Oil Filler Cap Broke

I changed my oil and put the oil cap back on, tightened until it clicked, and it broke. Now it will not come off, spins freely. Does anyone know how to get a broken cap off?

I've seen this before. Grab the outside edges of the cap as hard as you can with as large a pair of channel lock pliers as you can find and unscrew it while gripping it as tightly as possible. Of course you will need a new cap after that.
