if you have one local i would put more trust in them then i would a jiffy lube

wht not jiffylube? there isnt any other place near by that i can think of and its practicaly a stones throw away, i can actually see the sign across the way this very second. can they flush the engine at the same time i get my oil changed?

1995 4x4 all mods and boltons
just get some amsoil flush run 20 min and drain
sea foam also works well run 50 to 100 miles
drain
change filter and oil

I agree wit you Bob seafoam worth a dime had jiffylube do this to my old 91 dakota with the injector cleaning little while after started smoking ending up losing compression and got blowby now i have my 02 just dealing with crappy mileage. I see JJ out performs everyone but what i see in some posts hes driving truck up to temperature and of course mileage will be better and sludge issue?.Alot of short trip driving not bringing truck up to temp and thats where alot of gas mileage is? thats what iam thinking why my mileage is down i do alot short trips around town,work store etc. and MI winters dont help and truck not coming up to temp.

well i got my truck in 2004 with 140,000 on it so thats a ton of miles that i do not know how well its been maintained during that time tho it runs fairly well right now and its all stock. i do a lot of around town driving too, i prolly hit the highway once a month. i had an epifany last night. arent there things you pour in your gas tank that will clean your engine as it goes through?

ben, those will just clean the fuel system not inside the crankcase where the sludge builds up.
