Guys, I have an 88 dakota with the 3.9 v6, It won't start unless I pour some gas down the throttle body. After it starts I have to pump the accelerator vigorously to keep it running. It will not idle at all. The truck was this way when I purchased it. The previous owner replaced the fuel pump (new) and the throttle body from another running truck. It doesn't act like its getting enought fuel to me. Any ideas are very much appreciated...

mikey, there is a fuel filter mounted on the frame, it sounds like it needs to be replaced, its on the drivers side under the cab close to the fuel tank.
