 Subject: 01 v6 manuel to 360 swap

Hi there. im new here and if you could just be patient while i go over a long list of questions i have about doing a 5.9l swap, that would be great.ok lets get started...I have a 2001 reg cab sh.bed 3.9l 5 speed 2wd with the nv3500 transmission.I also know that 01s came with a 360 in the r/t and some quad cab 4x4s. I realize that 01 s did NOT come with a 318 manuel, rather a 4.7, so the v8 manuel wiring harness for the 318/360 would Have to be from a different year.my main question is if the wiring harness fron a 99 or so will work, and if the guage signals were changed.I dont know if an auto harness will work if i just remove the wires for the auto part and use a manuel pcm .Also if i can change the harness that plugs into the firewall or if i have to go deeper.I have heard about repinning the v6 harness, and using the v8 computer, but no one can tell me exactly where the new wires go. I have the nv 3500 trans with the 11" dia clutch. AND i am aware of the balance issues of the 360 flywheeel so consider that done. Like i said My main issues are with the 01 wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone has any questions about a 14.7 3.9l dakota feel free to ask! thanks.

all the bolt ons and a 75 shot! the 75 made it go from a 15.9 on motor to a 14.7. I had a bad run too. ittl go 14.3 at best. 100 shot soon.

All you have to do to swap a V8
add #7 and # 8 injector wires to comp plug
the other side of the injecter is ASD power
batt positive volts
thats all
