I've got a 1990 3.9 and at idle everything is fine, when I excellerate I get Large amount of exhuast gas and oil into the air cleaner houseing through the breather cap, no heavy smoke out the tail pipe, any help would be appriciated....

Sounds like broken compression rings,or cracked piston. Time for major engine work. try unpluging one plug wire at a time to see if it stops all the blow-by, if it does, that's the cyl. you have some problems with, of course if you have 2 cyl. that are bad, it won't help.
The only thing is, you said it only happens when you accelarate, if its a broken compression rings, it will do it all the time. Just a lot more when you rev it up.
