Subject: setting fuel sync

My buddy has a snap-on 2500 diagnostic tool. Does anyone know if it can read/display the fuel sync for the 92 Dakota V6??? My neighbor has the plug in module for the 92 dodge but I don't know if the fuel synch is supported

ANy help would be appreciated.

The MT 2500 yes it can read sync

or set TDC compression stroke

pickup plate in dist cyl line

rotor center over this line is 0

the V6 runs best between +3 to +6 at +8 it will
trip a code

looking from front and directly over rotor
the button back just past center will be +3
back of button with line rest of button past line

the 92 - 96 daks seem to do better when setting the sync by eye

need more help just ask

Larry, I had done the fuel sync before and I had gotten worse gas mileage.

I am sure that I rotated the distributor the correct direction and I have followed all your previous instructions for setting it.

I now have it set at "0" and it is the best fuel economy that I can get.

What other problem would cause the fuel sync mod to not work?
