Evere since I started posting here, and filling
in my email, addy in the little box I have been
getting tons of junk mail and porn, which I had
never got before in the 3 years of having the
same addy. I have another e-mail addy that I
use for the DML, and its a hotmail account so I
expect that stuff. I just check my email and I
had one from info@audiobox.com it said re
gmconner I want to see y nw or something like
that. The attachment said nitros, when I
opened it it was a pic of intensedak39's nitros
set up and a description of it. WTF is that
about....probably was a virus but i'm on school
computers so I didnt care.lol...anyways..done
with the rant

I haven't gotten any virus crap, but I did notice that once I began to surf here I got TONS of porn spam to my hotmail account. Good thing it's the account that I use for all my junk mail.

In my hotmail, that always has happened. I think it has actually become less for a while. It kinda happens in cycles. I may not get any or much for a month or two, then it is 10 a day for two weeks. Its kinda weird but i think it is b/c hotmail may give out their addresses to soliciters.

right..I expect it in my hotmail...but this isnt with
my hotmail account... I did an experiment with
hotmail....made a account..didnt use it or give
out the addy for anything...in 15 days it had 55
porn emails......

my hotmail acc. get 1 about every 2 days now.
If you block them 1 by 1, you have a choice of blocking every e-mail from that e-mail server ex( @....com)
I use to get tons until i started doing this^^^

What is wrong with porn? Think about it. Those poor women need to make money too. Hell, without that money how can they support their kids? Their pimps? Their drug habbits...think about that.
Then again, I am just ranting and raving myself...I get so much porn mail anymore that I have anything that starts with the letter P filtered.
Needless to say, I don't get much email. :-)

That is bizarre. One time someone sent out a bunch of MSN messenger chat boxes using my name, some were to people on this site, some to personal friends. Most of my friends realized it wasn't me (my friend Fred happens to be a 48 year old mother of two teenagers, I don't think she was real interested in the content of THAT chat!!) but it kind of freaked me out. I use a filter, and I block any future mail from addresses that look iffy.
