would you be able to make a ram air hood out of a the stock hood. with some scrap metal a welder and the stock air intake. this is what i was thinking to do is to cut the hole weld it then make my own scoop then have it able to take the stock hose to the intake and put them together.

I have a ram air system with an lund eclisp small
scoop cut hole in hood and stuck down
Blows into a shroud with a 14x3 K&N with a K&N
exstream top cover works great
just got 21.5mpg in 0 to 30 degree weather top
removed for winter
