sure but say good by to alot of the magnums good qualities... you can swap the heads and intake to a pre-magnum 3.9L engine and put on a 2bbl carb. and I've heard you can swap the distributor with one from i think a slant 6? correct me if I'm wrong. Lets put it this way a pre-magnum 3.9l puts out 125hp and 180-190ft/lbs of tq, a magnum 3.9l puts out 180ish hp and 230ft/lbs of tq and is gonna have better mileage and throttle response than the carb. why you'd wanna do that i don't know but you can... I have a pre-mag TBI '91 and a '93 with a magnum (doing magnum engine swap into '91 in spring) the power difference is very noticeable..

It will run worse and have less power and gas mileage, so I don't know what you're looking for.
