I have a 93 Dakota with factory installed anti theft device. when the little key fob is not installed in the slot it results in a dead key. at the moment i am suddenly getting a dead key regardless what i do. ihave swapped batteriens and even tried one with 1250 CCA. all fuses and relays checked out. and wiring into relay box located on drivers side fender well checked out.the only thing that i get is the priming of the fuel pump when the key is turned on. after that just a dead key.
