Message: sport02, I've never done that on a Dakota before, but my repair manual says to remove the control arm and take to a shop to have the bushings replaced, so I assume they will need to be pressed out/in. I have done them on an old Buick before and only needed to use a gear puller to remove/install, wasn't much of a problem at all, still, I don't know about the Dak.
Good Luck
