Whats the deal with that
Those doing it probably have never even used the
amsoil products

My policy is to ignore the flamers and not engage them. They go away when they can only talk to themselves. When you register you can search old posts and often solve your problem. Not much has ever happened that hasn't been discussed. I'm surprised Larry has the patience to repeat himself and help us out.

Bashing is the heart of this board. It's all I've seen for several years. Go to allpar.com where it isn't allowed and you will get helpful people and advice. I browse this board because I thought I could find more specific and useful info on Dakotas. But half of the posting is insults.

To many have to much time on there hands and thats why there trucks are f!ck up and didn't pay attention in class and slide by a passing grade enough to maybe know something other than bull,my days had to learn if you wanted to a good mechanic this day of age of computers have changed the way we think and repair sometimes this I why if you don't repair your truck suggest better take a look at personnel could answer your result what your gonna get in the end

Like Elmer, I tend to ignore them, although there was once that I fired back when I shouldn't have.
I still like the board, even with the Amsoil flamers (and yeah, I use Amsoil, too, but I don't put it on my pancakes). I've gotten a helluva lot more good out of this board than my lifetime membership cost me, believe me.
All of you guys - Larry, Pete, Elmer, Kowalski, ProblemChild, Bob, and Wadak - have helped me at one point or another since the day I joined, that is really what this board is all about, and I really appreciate every one of you and the help you've provided. Hopefully, I've been able to help others. And too, there are others that have helped me, but I simply don't recall all of them right off the top of my head. So if you helped me and I didn't call your name, it isn't because I don't appreciate it - at my age, I just don't remember everything.
Be nice if Dak2 would set up another forum just for the synthetic bashers, and let them go do their thing over there. Be even NICER if it would automatigally screen them and force that crap over there.
And it'd be even NICER if he'd get those freaking Google ads outa my way!!! I realize they're a revenue producer, but if it's walking all over your text and your readership starts going down because they get po'd when they can't read all of the text and leave, then you're just moving money from one pocket to the other, and what was in that original pocket in the first place is being reduced.

A lot of that is linked to the Amsoil spamming. I was against the Amsoil bashing and flaming when Steve was our site sponsor. What has happened since then seems to be this - Steve and Mark had a falling out regarding moderation of this site, leading to Steve leaving to go to a rival site that is now spamming our boards viciously. Many of these posts include links to the rival site, something they would doubtfully let us post at their site. Is it just coincidence that this spamming started at the same time; or is Steve involved ? Sometimes I wonder. I don't think everyone will stop responding to the spamming until it stops being posted here - perhaps what is needed is a rule aginst non sponsors advertising competing sites here. Just thought some of you deserve to know what is actually going on. Since some words can be barred here, I wonder if Mark has the technology to block any post containig the rival site's address ? That would seem to be one way to slow down the havoc they are wreaking on our site.
"wadak" - your sentence structure is a bit difficult to follow, but it sounds like you are telling me not to reply. While not responding to flamers can be a noble act, I don't want people to be confused as to what is really going on here. Go ahead and post as you please; and expect me to do the same.

Finally! Some one who is well aware of what is going on. Some one who is not affraid to speak up about it. Hats off to you Kowalski, I mean how bad is this we can't even mention oil on here or we get flamed and bashed. I dont see a single person that spoke up about that though.
