Message: switch to a good sythetic
Mobil 1
Amsoil
royal purple
And don't listen to the bull its never to late
to go with a better oil
I run all amsoil fluids except motor royal purple
The timing chain was a weak spot in the early mags
but your 98 should have come with the chain
tensioner so it should run 250,000

Message: Any synthetic is better than conventional oil
will handle more heat without burning off reduces
friction and wear helps power and gas mileage
If you ever watch hot rod tv with joe gilmore
they ran a dyno than changed to all synthetics
and gained 9hp instantly
in the 4x4 trucks going to all synthetics you can
feel the diff the first time you drive it and
gas mileage 2 to 3mpg gain is average
run better last longer dyno proven over and over
but still people are hard to convince that its
better
And than the mith about causing oil leaks is bull
it will actualy soften seals slow down and stop
leaks
the cost mith yes cost more but is changed less
often so its actually almost the same price maybe
even cheaper to run
I run 6 months or 6,000 miles in all my vehicles
and never have any probs
my 79 lincoln mark 5 400 engine 168,000 miles
still runs perfict all synthetics but this car
has and never will see snow or salted roads
still has org paint on it 30 years old now perfict
inside and out one of my babies that I hide in
my garage don't even drive it in the rain or
when roads are wet
this is another car I will never part with and
it gets 24 25mpg high way 2.47 rear gears but
I did change the cam right after I got it to a
comp cams 260/260 .500 and went with the comp
springs the ford 400 they bind at .470 .480
another example 1995 john deere 18hp lawn tractor
going on 13 uses no oil and have never even
changed the spark plug Amsoil motor and hydro
trans
All my vehicles and equipment has synthetic oil
and it shows in how they run and how long they
last
heres the real proff 1962 international lawn tractor 2 cyl onan still used to pull cars around
uses no oil and runs perfict
does synthetic work how could I ever say no I
see the resaults every day

Message: HAHA, J&J says his 2-stroke never burns any oil, considering all 2 stroke engines burn oil, brand new or not.
