Subject: Oil Pressure Sending Unit IP: Logged
Message: OK, where is the Oil Pressure Sending Unit on a 2002 Dakota 3.9 and how difficult is it to change? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to the individual that pointed out the problem initially as well!

Message: it's on the back of the motor next to the distributor shaft. not too difficult to change. you may need a special wrench/socket which you can usually rent/buy from your local parts house.

Message: I bought the socket from advance for my old 95 and it didn't fit, was not deep enough.
I picked one up from napa, fit fine and was actually a few cents cheaper.
