Subject: Blinking ABS Light IP: Logged
Message: Today I replaced the ECM on my Dakota with a used part. After installation my ABS light immediately began blinking, but no codes were returned from the OBD module. Thought maybe the used part was bad so I reinstalled original ECM. Same problem with the light. How can I reset the ABS system???? I've read on some forums of other vehicles that such a procedure exists. Other than that, truck is running better than ever.

Message: Have you tried the usual 'reset' ?
Disconnect battery negative cable , turn key on then to start position , then back off again.
Then reconnect battery ,and start her up ..
