can someone help me, im wounder exactly how u get the heater core out of the truck, do u have to takwe the hole dash apart to get it out is my main question, and woundering if neone would have a diagram on how to do it would be awesome, but simple reply would be nice.....ty

from what ive read yes u have to take the dash out but i do remember readin somewhere that someone did do it with just layin the dash on the front seats.u might wanna take a look at this post

I wrote some instructions on how to do it before here. If you search you can probably find it.

I changed the evaporator core which is located in the same housing as the heater core.

ive torn apart my dash 3 or 4 times
it is easiest to pull the dash out, its really simple the second time though ;-)
there is jsut 5 bolts up top to lossen then 2 on the side and it will pivot down, mind you it does require you to unhook alot of other stuff, like unbolt the steering column and unhook a bunk of wiring


1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) Powertrax "traction system", 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars
