(Finally) got the new V6 back into the truck and running. Had a small problem with a head gasket letting go on the initial break in (20 minutes at 2000rpm) but all is well after the tear-down and gasket replacement (FelPro 9910).

Initial results...well, it's gotta break in and the PCM has to relearn but she's definitely much more peppy than before - Naturally aspirated. (God I miss my blower)

I'll have some pics up on the website later on this evening with all the new goodies installed.

Kryptonite: For the first 3000-3500 miles...yes. Once the engine has had a decent "break-in", the turbocharger is getting installed. (Ok...so i'm a boost junkie.) ;)

I have a kind of off subject question, but this is easier than making a whole other thread.
I was crawling around under my truck the other day(don't ask) and I found a tag on the diff. that said 3.9. Then I finaly found where on the tag under the hood that said 3.9 axle ratio. Does that mean I have 3.92's?

there is a tag on the left side of the rear diff (driver side) that should state open or limited slip diff and the gear ratio..... and my truck also has it listed in the glove box

LiBlackDak: Plan on it. That's part of the build-up anyway. Won't be running it at the track until the motor is properly broken in though. (About 3000-3500 miles) She's definitely more responsive than with the factory cam...that's for sure...but it's too early to tell as (again)...the engine needs to break in first.
