Message:
I suspected my wiper motor because it would not come on during cold weather. However, by manually moving the wipers it would take off and run. Neither the low, high, or intermittant would run. I got the old motor off but buggered up the plug that goes into the wiper motor. I can find one but I was thinking I could now check for some voltages and grounds since I have the plug cut off. I have a haynes manual but am confused as to what leads (red, green, brown, violet) I should pick up voltage or ground on. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: skywarrior, if you have a ohm/volt meter it should be easy. turn on the key, and the wipers on any speed, and check for volts, if no volts, set meter to ohms and check to see if you have a ground on that wire, mark everything as you figure out what you have. I know with blower motors they use resisters to slow the blower motor down, but with wipers, I think its in the motor its self, still not sure. If you come up with different voltage readings then you will know for sure.
Good Luck
