I have a 95 V6 that has started having wiper troubles. When I turn them on, nothing happens. No motor noise, just nothing. If I leave them turned on and get out and pull them up by hand, they will start running and run o.k. after that. I wouldn't suspect the motor because they run fine after I give them the manual assistance. Any help would be appreciated.

skywarrior, I'm just guessing, but I would say the wiper motor is on its way out, if it needs help to get started it is going bad. If you can take it apart, you could clean the brushes, and comutator, and that would probably help a lot, unless the brushes are wore out. The problem is, many times the motors are sealed and you can't get them apart without destoring the whole thing.

skywarrior, my manual shows 3 nuts holding the motor on to the fire wall, but you will need to remove the wiper arms, then the cowl grill, then you will have access to the rest of the operating arms. You can use a wrench to hold the wiper drive crank, and remove the nut holding the linkage to the motor then remove the 3 nuts and it should slide right out without any problems.
Installation is reverse of removal.

You can try turning on the ignition and the wiper switch and instead of pulling up on the wiper arm, smack the motor with a hammer. If the wipers start working then, you may have an incorrect park circuit in the motor. If so it may just be less trouble to replace the motor instead of a rebuild.
