what does the o2 sensor do for my truck.the one behind the catilatic converter? does it hurt the vehicle if i dont change it? if i do change it will i notice anything.

It monitors cat efficiency. If you remove it, the MIL will come on. If you live anywhere that has emission testing, you'll fail.

Many people here don't change it unless it throws a code. I change mine per recommended maintenance intervals.

9 times out of 10 I will replace both at the
same time

ngk.com will have the best price and is the
same the factory uses don't get into any bosch
or universal type sensors they do not work right
in the dodge trucks
