Message: Sorrym it was along day at the office. I will try to keep my name stright. I know the truck has a valve cover gasket leak on the passanger side. When I wento t pick the truck up I ordered a new set of valve cover gaskets. Then I went by Advance Auto Parts to pick up an extra quart of oil and a can of carb cleaner. I am goig to chean the motor around the valve covers(even though I am replacing them), cylinder head, oil pan and back of the motor/front of the tranny to see if I can farther tack down this leak.
And no, I don't have a trail of blue smoke or any kind of smoke following me around. No fried piston rings.

Message: This keeps getting better. I was taking a look at the truck today and turns out I am also leaking coolant from the t-stat. Easy fix.

Message: 00dak, check around the dist. some times the O ring will leak oil as well. Not as bad as some GM's, but possible.
Good Luck
