I have a '92 long bed that will roll 100,000 sometime tomarrow!!! Also it goes in the shop to have the power stearing rack changed tomarrow morning...too darn cold out to do it myself...
But other then that it has had only one big problem in it's lifetime...

MY 99 XCAB 4X4 HAS 196,000 ON IT AND NOTHING HAS BEEN OPENED UP. STILL RUNS STRONG AND IS MY MOST RELIABLE OF MY 3 VEHICLES. THIS 3.9 HAS SURPRISED THE HELL OUT OF ME.

check out the half a million mile club at the
Alpar website you will see daks with over 500,000
miles on them and what they had done to them
1 guy replaced only his water pump
When they stoped making the V6 3.9 I could have
cryed to me a very sad day

93 dakota sport, v6 with 152,000. Runs strong but needs a new part every other pay check. But when i bought it for $500 can't expect much but still suprises me from time to time. It's my first truck ever and i have never regreted buying it. I appreciate it more than any other kid that drives their dad's car around. :P

I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota Sport,it has the v6 Mag.,it was a one owner,barney purple single cab. It hass 189,xxx miles on it and runs like a champ.
So far they seem like a solid truck,just keep up maintance on it and they run great....Easy to work on too.....Where can we post picss at?
Ya i got a stealon it,paid 1200 for it and all it needed was tufne up! Merry christmas too me!!!

My 93 clubcab is just shy of 270k. 1 auto trans,1 timing chain, 1 radiator, 1 injector, 1 set valve stem seals.(without removing heads)The rest is normal maint ie. brakes shocks etc. Oil is changed at 5k intervals. Been more than happy with this truck!!!

I HAVE AN '03 3.9L 4X4. I JUST WENT PAST 107K THIS WEEK. SO FAR, NO MAJOR PROBLEMS. EXCEPT FOR A NEW RAD AND A COLD AIR INTAKE, EVERYTHING IS STILL ORIGINAL AS DAY ONE INCLUDING THE BATTERY. SO FAR, EVEN WITH THE COLD CANADIAN WINTERS, MY TRUCK NEVER FAILED TO START ON THE FIRST TRY IN THE MORNING (I HAVE NEVER USED MY BLOCK HEATER SO FAR).

1992 Dak clubcab, auto w/shiftkit, amsoil syn. v8 TB horns removed and polished, intake manifold port matched and runners shortened, summit racing cam for 92 v6 dak, harland sharp 1.7 roller rockers, heads ported and shaved .035", 2000 stall torque convertor. jba coated headers and y pipe, dual exhaust running magnaflow mufflers and cat., crane ignition, taylor wires and ngk v power at .055". 3.92 gears, fuel sync at +5 with mt2500. Custom bed cover, with the cruise set at 60mph consistently 27 mpg, 231 rwhp, 14.85 quarter mile. 155,000 miles on the truck. Engine and tranny rebuilt by my uncle who has his own shop and know a lot of the DODGE tweaks. All Amsoil synthetics. I love this truck man!
