Message: Is it an automatic ? If so try changing into reverse and then back into park .... or shake it while trying to pull the key out ... there is a locking pin in there that keeps the key in while out of park ..

Message: Mopar Man: I had the same issue on my wife's Chevy Blazer. We couldn't get the key out of the ignition. Found out the ignition switch was bad and needed to be replaced. Truck started fine so I still can't figure out why the switch was bad but at any rate once the switched was replaced the key retracted fine since.
