Message: Hey Mike go to this web site theres a lot of diagnosing info. about your year models electrics. http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/ , I hope this helps, it should give you something to do at least. I'm having the same problem with my 92, so you might watch my posts and read, read, read otherwise. There are a bunch of good guys here that have these mean trucks and they know what they're talking about. Toby WD40

Message: Mike, have you tried to get a code from the computer? If you try and can't get anything from the computer it could be a ground. Mine is an 88 and it uses 4 different grounds. If one goes bad, it can cause all kinds of problems. I would start at the Battery, both cables, and the ground where the ground cable goes, then there are a couple on the passenger side head at the rear. (on my 1988 anyway) then there is another ground from the batt grnd, to the body close to the batt. If you aren't sure if its good or not, remove the bolt/nut and clean the ground wire, and where it connects then hook it back up.
That's about all I can think of for now.
Good Luck

Message: Thanks to all of you who sent in responses. It did end up being a wire that was disconnected inside of the harness - impossible to see until it completely came loose.
Thanks again, Mike
