Message: Has anyone done the injector swap to a 3.9L in a full size Ram?
Also, has anyone had any problems with the injectors leaking?
Thanks

You should have no problem - actually need
more than a Dak.

Message: the 3.9 in the dak and the ram are the same
same swap
92 to 99 19#
00 and up 21#
If its one of the orings leaking just go to any
parts store and get an o ring kit for a mustang
5.0 same o rings
In all my years of working on these things I have
only seen 1 injector that leaked gas to the
outside world
now if you mean leaking internaly from a stuck
or damaged pintle or dirt I have seen many
The V6 ram computers do run better fuel and tining
maps to off set the extra weight of the full size
they also have better o/d and lockup programs
The nice thing about the 92 to 95 obd1 V6 comps
they are interchangeable plug and play
obd2 96 and up vin flash required

Message: Thanks guys. I already installed them and they work great. Better idle actually is the first thing noticed.
I will have to run a few tanks to see if milage improves. I may be looking at a valve job though, or lower end over hall. It's starting to run a little sluggish.
