My 95 3.9 w/ 250,000 origonal miles. Runs rough when it gets below 1/2 tank of gas. I replaced the fuel pump less than 20,000 miles back. Tune up within 10k including cap and rotor. At first thought fuel level was a coincidence. I have run cleaners and higher octane through. No trouble codes popping up. Runs like new from full tank to 1/2. Any thougths, comments or advice would be appreciated.

How much of the " fuel pump" did you replace ?
I would assume at least the main assembly
complete with the two 'filters' = one at bottom
and one inside near bottom.
But that [ regulator ] that goes in the top
I believe also contains a 'filter' .
