I am trying to get some info on my clutch fan. It is a 95 3.9. How can I tell if it is working properly? Should it run when first started and the engine is cold? In other words, how can I test it. Also, I am considering replacing it with an electric. What size should I use and how much is involved in changing to an electric? Any help would be appreciated.

Message: i had this same problem. It should not be engaged when first starting from cold engine. The clutch is sticking on the fan. You need a new one or replace it like you said with the electric. I'm not much help though as far as what size or what's involved with changing it over to electric.
