 Subject: low oil pressure and rattle

After I let my truck idle with the AC on yesterday my oil pressure is low and I got a rattle in the engine. It seems to go away if I drive it a little but when I first start it rattles. I tried changing the oil and filter and still does it. PLEASE HELP!

Bad bearings maybe .... or the lifters aren't pumping up ....

pull the sending unit and get a mechanical gauge on there to see exactly what the oil pressure is
