Subject: Intrepid Fan IP: Logged
Message: ElmerFudd recently posted about MPG gains after he installed his electric fan, I remember reading a post some time ago about someone using an Intrepid fan. I searched a few times through out the day but with no luck couldn't find it.
I have a 99 Intrepid sitting in the driveway with a locked up trans and an engine that drinks as much oil as I do beer. So I have the fan and I'm sure almost everything I would need to switch it over.
But when it comes to wiring, well that is where I need help. I wouldn't know where to start to get it wired with the A/C, temperature setting and the ignition. Wiring really intimidates me in certain areas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This wiring diagram for a Viper fan might be of help.

Message: Thanks,
I'll take a look at it, but after some research on my own. I think I am going to go another route, seems to be a lot of problems with the Intrepid fans. I should say the Intrepid PERIOD. I can't even get anyone to tow this off just to get rid of it. Guess I'm going to rent a trailer and do it myself.
