How do you get the hood open, when the handle inside the truck is not working. The cable is probably broken somewhere between the handle and the latch. There has to be a way to get the hood open so I can replace the cable. Any positive input would be greatly appreciated.

If you can see where the cable is broken then just grab it with a pair of pliers and pull. If not... then oh well?

Is it actually broken , or just 'sticky' ?
If it doesn't seem broken , get someone to press down on hood while you pull the handle.
Then when you have fully pulled the handle
tell them to let go.
If this works , be sure to lube everything well before re closing.
