Message: Hi,
I have a 2005 dodge dakota 3.9
When you crank it up first thing in the morning it sounds a little like a diesel, not very loud and it only lasts a minute.
I took it to the dealer they replace the lifters all of them. As it is under warranty. So the next morning it does the same exact thing. So back to the dealer it goes any ideas .
I will post back to let everone know how it goes thanks.

Message: '05 3.9? it's a 3.7. but anyway, what weight oil are you using? i'm pretty sure tha factory calls for 5w-30 but you can use 10w-30. try a differeent filter brand also.
