I only have a 10 inch round filter. it is like when im at a stand still it is hard to get moving and when cruising if i try to pass someone it revs up to 3500-4000 rmp and then finially kicks in. is this normal??? what simple mods can help with this???exhaust,tb???

Message: I thought that my V6 had some power. I would have to wind out to really get moving along. No problems with my 4.7. I love it. :)

Message: I'm with you SXT, seems that there is just something missing. I've been paying attention to my truck, and it seems that it likes to shift too early when I'm on the throttle ( even after adjusting the TV cable...tranny was supposedly replaced 30k ago )
However, even though it seems to not quite perform the way I'd think it should, it pulled a 16ft fiberglass boat 100 miles without too much problem and the mileage wasn't horrible either on 89 octane.
I guess the first things I'd check would be the basics ( air filter, plugs, wires and distributor cap ) and then go from there.

Message: Yea I think it's just missing those 2 cylinders.
I feed my V6 hoping the other 2 will pop up but no luck so far.
