Message: Your TPS shouldn't have any varying voltage even if you did the TPS mod. your TPS is sh!t get a new one if you do the mod. CAREFUL!! when you do it then recheck readings be sure within but different if you alter it.

Message: today i disconnected the tps sensor and plugged it back in. then i started the truck 3 times. i made no adjustments to it. truck runs great once again! but give it about a week or two and i'll have to do it again. would this be pretty conclusive that my tps sensor is shot? i think part of the problem aside from a completely bad sensor itself is that the rivets are drilled out for the tps mod and it is hard to get even pressure on both sides of the sensor. that plus trying not to make it too tight. i'll just have to get a new sensor. i have the sensor back to the OEM volts where it was before i did the mod.

Message: fix it, not to be smarta!s and everyone else these mods are waste of time and sometimes more money later like my pops says "if it ain't broke leave it alone" want more horsepower build a motor theres where you get power ! but of course this day in age the electronic age where we can get more gains with these mods everyone is doing without building a motor, you better know what you are getting into when you play around with electronics otherwise ....????

Message: Yeah pete, i agree, if you don't know what it's doing or why it's doing it then just leave it alone! I think i'm the one that causes the TPS to act up. I'm back to all OEM settings and running good. I don't have the money to keep changing things when they go wrong. Probly gotta get a new sensor now! One mod leads to another so if you got the money, go for it! Otherwise just leave it be.
